Digital Image Processing Training Course at IISM-Survey of India,

I had successfully completed a training course on 'Remote Sensing and Digital Image Processing' at the Indian Institute of Surveying and Mapping (IISM), Survey of India, Hyderabad, India as part of my first MSc in Geography course from January 04-08, 2016. This course covered the topics such as Photogrammetry, Digital Image Processing, Satellite Remote Sensing and Global Positioning Systems to develop theoretical understanding as well as the fieldwork experience to conduct field survey using Dumpy Level, Total Stations and standard GPS etc.

This training course helped me to enhance my GIS and remote sensing for data processing skills and enabled me to be a confident user of various image processing software. At the end of the MSc fourth and final semester, I submitted a written report to the Department of Geography, JMI based on the experience and knowledge I had gained from the course as part of Digital Image Processing (DIP) Training module.
